Llewellin Lodge No 7907 is in the Province of Dorset and meets at Poole Masonic Hall, Market Close, Poole. The lodge is named after Lord John Llewellin the owner of Upton House in Poole until his death in 1957.
The number 7907 is significant as this means Llewellin Lodge was the seven thousand, nine hundred and seventh lodge to be registered with the United Grand Lodge of England.
The lodge was initially formed by members of the transport industry, but as time has moved on we now have a diverse memberships made up of retired businessmen, tradesmen, engineers and police to name but a few.
Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of September to May, with the December meeting being held the second Wednesday to avoid clashing with the festive holiday. After the formal meeting which is held with the Temple, the members have a three course dinner in the dining room located on the ground floor.
